The art of targeting in Facebook ads

Facebook ads is one of the important options for any person or entity that wants to promote its product or service on the Internet, as it is a community of more than a billion people in this globe. Facebook allows you to reach whoever you want, of course, reaching them all needs a big financial revolution.

In order to create an advertisement and publish it on Facebook professionally. You must first build the custom and targeted audience or audiences. This process takes place separately from preparing the advertisement itself, for example you can start first by preparing the target audience and saving it within the system with a specific name. Then when you create any new advertisement, yous simply link the ad to your previously saved audience.

Separating the audience creation process from the ad building process is useful in many ways, as it provides you with the ability to use the same settings for more than one ad. The second benefit is to compare results when publishing the ad to two audiences separate from each other, and to know which audiences are the most interacting with your ad and with Your product or service.

For example, you can create two separate audiences, the first for males and the other for females in the same geographical area, then publish your ad once for the first audience and the second time for the second audience, and choose the same budget and the same time period, in order to compare and know is your product or ad popular with men more or women? This is just an example, you can compare the interaction between different geographic regions or multiple age groups.
